Gordon Bennett Classic Car Rally

This June bank holiday tour retraces the route of the 1903 Gordon Bennett Cup, the race that first legalised motor racing on Irish public roads, taking pre-1996 classics on a leisurely multi-day run through Laois, Carlow and Kildare. Following the actual roads used by the pioneers of motorsport over a century ago gives it a historical weight few other Irish tours can match.
