A genteel grassroots tradition on the lawns of the Jockey-Club-run Beas River Country Club: around 300 club members gather under canopies while nearly 100 member-owned classics, from Beetles to Ferraris to American muscle, are parked out for tyre-kicking and admiration. The club presents its Car of the Year and Member of the Year awards, capping the club's spring social calendar.
